AI Crypto Vocabulary for Beginners

A beginner guide to the overlap between AI agents, wallets, DeFi automation, data markets, and model risk.

Why AI and crypto vocabulary overlap

AI and crypto often meet around automation, identity, payments, data, infrastructure, and risk. A product may use an AI agent to read information, call tools, prepare a transaction, or summarize on-chain activity. That makes the vocabulary broader than either topic alone.

A beginner should separate the words by function. Some terms describe model behavior, some describe wallet permissions, some describe market infrastructure, and some describe how data is verified.

Agent terms describe actions and limits

An agent loop describes repeated steps such as read, decide, act, observe, and continue. A tool router chooses which tool may be called. A permission scope limits what a system is allowed to do.

Those words matter because an AI system connected to crypto infrastructure can be more sensitive than a normal chatbot. Read-only analysis is different from signing a transaction or changing a position.

Data terms describe evidence

Vector stores, data provenance, dataset lineage, and model attestations all relate to the information an AI system uses or produces. They help readers ask where information came from and whether a result can be checked.

For crypto readers, these terms also connect to public ledgers, analytics dashboards, risk scoring, and content verification. The shared theme is trust in the source of a claim.

How this appears in the game

AI crypto terms in the game often group into automation, permissions, data, and verification. If four cards describe how an AI system acts, they likely belong together. If four cards describe where data came from, they likely form a different group.

The goal is vocabulary recognition. The site does not recommend bots, trading systems, wallets, tokens, or investment actions.
